Prior to startup, excavation, grading, and repair activities, Insight provided a UXO technician to sweep and clear UXO at the surface of operational grenade ranges no. 109, 202, & 307. Once cleared, we performed demolition and repair, maintenance, and government construction work. All work was performed in close coordination with Range operations personnel. As part of our joint venture government construction team, provided design-build services to construct an 8,000-square foot steel structure to house a martial arts training facility. The construction activity was part of a larger site restoration/development task. The structure layout consisted of main training area, wet equipment storage room, laundry room, bathrooms, classroom/conference-room/video-room, dry equipment storage room, lounge area, and instructors office. Plumbing was provided for bathrooms (urinals, toilets, sinks, shower stalls), laundry room (sink, washer, dryer), lounge area (sink, drinking fountains), and exterior wash basin. All underground utility lines (including sewers) were installed for the building. | | ![]() |

Insight performed Design-Build (D-B) engineering and government construction services for this environmental compliance project. A functional riparian habitat for three endangered species that had been inadvertently over-cleared, so we designed a restoration and enhancement program to restore the habitat. | |
